Exfoliating The Skin By Natural Methods
Exfoliating the skin involves removing dead cells. On average, the skin naturally regenerates its cells once a month. However, over time, this process slows down, and dead cells remain on the surface of the skin, preventing the development of new ones.
It is necessary to exfoliate your skin at least once a week. In the following lines you will find some simple, convenient and effective recipes for skin hydration and regeneration.
Carrot for skin exfoliation
Pass a carrot in a blender, mix the juice with a moisturizer, then apply it on your hands, feet and face. You can do this before you take a bath. At the end, rinse with plenty of water.
Exfoliating the elbows with lemon
The elbows are one of the most neglected areas of the body, but we should give them the same importance as the others.
Cut a lemon in half and massage the juice into the skin on the elbows. Leave it on for a few minutes, then remove it with baby oil.
Aspirin
Dissolve aspirin in a glass of water. Soak a piece of cotton wool in this liquid and apply it on your face. It will work as an astringent.
Sugar
Pour a few tablespoons of sugar into a bowl, add a little hand cream and massage the mixture on your arms, hands and feet.
Honey
Mix a tablespoon of honey with two ground almonds and a tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply this mask on the face every week, and at the end rinse with warm water.
Papaya
Take a slice of seedless papaya, make a puree and apply it on your face. Papaya contains papain, an enzyme that dissolves oils in the skin and removes dead cells.
Grape oil for cellulite
Mix 2 tablespoons of grape oil, 7 grams of corn flour and 4 drops of lemon juice until you get a homogeneous paste. Apply it on the hips and muscles in a circular motion. In addition to exfoliating the skin, this mixture also helps reduce cellulite.
Oat
Mix 3 tablespoons of ground oatmeal with 1/4 tablespoon of milk. Put a few pieces of cotton wool in the mixture, then take them out. Cotton wool will make it thicker. Use it as a face mask.
Clay
Mix green, red or white clay with a little mineral water until you get a homogeneous paste. Apply it on the body, let it sit for 10 minutes, then wash off with plenty of water.
Olive oil
Mix two tablespoons of olive oil with a tablespoon of salt. Salt cleanses the skin and makes the oil finer.
Honey, lemon and sugar
Mix these three ingredients in equal parts until you get a homogeneous paste. Apply it all over the body, using circular movements.
Coffee
Coffee helps to exfoliate the skin. Add a little coffee in a moisturizer, mix and apply it all over your body, massage, then wash off with plenty of water.
Sodium bicarbonate
This is an extremely simple recipe. Mix a little baking soda with water to get a thick paste, then apply it all over your body.
Banana
The banana recipe is recommended for oily skin. Put in the blender a ripe banana, 3 tablespoons of sugar and a quarter of a tablespoon of vanilla essence. Massage the mixture all over the body, from bottom to top in circular motions.
Coconut oil and brown sugar
This recipe is a treat for your body, because it hydrates and relaxes it due to its texture and pleasant smell.
Put half a cup of coconut oil and half a cup of brown sugar in a bowl. Massage your whole body with this mixture, then rinse with warm water.
